  Blog 5  Garrett Escala Introduction  High Point and the South in general is need of ice hockey! From somebody who is a player from up north, this exciting sport needs to be grown more down here. So what better way to do that than building a rink on campus for the club team? That is what my project is about, why HPU should build a rink on campus.  Experience Editing  Editing wasn't too hard like previous projects. Making the animations on photos was definitely the toughest but I got it done. The other hard part was matching up my voice over with the pictures.  MP4 Screen Shot

  Introduction  Many people have played sports in their lives and may not have realized that the sport they played as influenced the way we act. In my audio story I first introduce the topic and follow it up with two expert interviews, AJ Dondero, who is trying out for the HPU Club Lacrosse team and current HPU Hockey player Sean Kelley give their insight on what life lessons they have learned from playing sports. Introduction Since my major here at HPU is Sports Media, I wanted to talk about something with sports. The topic I've chosen is how playing a team sports teaches you valuable life lessons. I played Hockey and Baseball my entire life and continue to play hockey here at HPU and I have learned so much from playing the sport. I chose to interview my roommate, AJ Dondero, who played Lacrosse all throughout High School. I consider him an expert because I think you learn the most from playing sports in High School. I will continue asking former and current athletes on what life lessons they learned throughout playing sports.  Blog 2  Garrett Escala  2/10/2022 Introduction on Expert  The Expert I chose to interview is Andrew Hockenberry, a Freshmen Biology Major here at High Point University. Andrew is a Biology major with a concentration in Health Science on the pre physicist track. His dad is a healthcare worker at a hospital in South Jersey and has been working with Covid patients since the pandemic.
